札格樹林。綠洲。荒漠。小鎮

2010.7.11　在沙漠中行走沒有遇過大批且又高過一個人的灌木叢，這天早上經過一處大片灌木林，喜悅不已，趕緊叫司機老大停車。

 

仔細觀看，原來這些灌木就是所謂的札格樹，是一種極為耐旱與深根的植物，若樹高一公尺，它的根可以深入地下四公尺吸取地下水份，所以能生存在沙漠中。


 

札格樹的葉子細如針狀，有點像木麻黃，可以防止水份過度蒸散。據說在內蒙、新疆也有這種樹，當地人叫它「梭梭木」。因為戈壁沙漠氣候嚴苛，導致它生長速度緩慢，扭曲的樹幹滿是風霜，造型獨特，可惜許多老株都被牧民砍來當柴燒，很少見到老叢。

 

 

路徑就穿梭在札格樹叢間，乾旱的氣候可以從地表的乾裂窺知一二。

 

 

想到沙漠就覺得熱死了，結果我包得像在冬天。　

其實，戈壁沙漠的夏天不如想像的一直很熱，而是日夜溫差很大。對我們來說，早晚冷得像秋冬，經過札格樹林時才早上八點多，還頗有涼意呢！

 

 

 

車子在杳無人煙的沙漠中前行了將近二個小時後，進入一個山區谷地，突然見到有綠草地，還有一彎清流緩緩流淌，真是荒漠甘泉啊！好令人興奮！

 

 

真的是缺水太久了，有水是件多麼喜悅的事，又趕緊請司機老大停車。大家趕快下車去觸摸冰涼清澈的水，洗洗手，洗把臉，真是舒服啊！

 

 

這樣的一條小溪流在台灣不算什麼，好像只是一條水溝，但在沙漠戈壁裡遇到，卻能令人欣喜若狂，為何「久旱逢甘霖」能成為人生四大樂事之一就不難了解了。

 

 

這塊小小的綠洲是牧民賴以為生的希望，就像這裡的花兒也一樣，遇到一點可以生存的環境，就努力生長，綻放生命的光芒。

 

過了那塊有清流的小綠洲後，車子又進入一個光秃的荒山曠野，路在無止境的空曠裡翻山越嶺前行。

 

 

駛入一個山谷，「前面山上有一頭羊吔！」在什麼都沒有的戈壁，只要有一點東西出現，都能引起我們的好奇！

 

 

原來是一頭羊的塑像！不清楚這裡為什麼有一頭羊的塑像，身上還綁了哈達，但這裡是從戈壁通往蒙古中部的必經路線，應該是祝福旅人平安吧！在單調的路程裡，這裡是一個驛站。

 

 

我們就停在這裡，舒展筋骨，享受藍天白雲下的空曠感！

 

這裡長了許多這種草，一小叢一小叢的，味道非常濃烈，一撥動就能散發出像天竺葵的味道，味道之濃烈，據說連這裡的牛羊都不喜歡吃。

 

 

又是一段貧瘠滄涼的山路

 

 

咦！地上怎麼會有一層白霜？原來這一帶的塩份含量極高，附近還有製塩工廠呢！難怪這一路喝的水都是鹹的！

 

又是一段只有天與地，一望無際的路途。

 

 

已經12點了，茫茫天涯路，何處是歸途？

「你們先在這裡休息一下，上個廁所吧！我們要趕到一個小鎮吃午飯！」廚娘如此告訴我們。心中燃起了一點希望，有小鎮吔！

都已經下午1:40了，小鎮在哪裡？前面依然空無一物，無邊無際的空曠。更慘的是，我們又遇到大麻煩了，前頭是日前戈壁大雨留下的積水與爛泥淖，二位司機下車去探勘，找一條能通過的路。

 

 

司機矸仔有20年開車經驗，果然是老手，探勘後順利一次把車開過爛泥地，緊接著另個司機Bayra也在我們的掌聲中順利衝過來。好家在！沒有被困在這裡繼續餓肚子。

 

下午2點，終於抵達所謂的小鎮，在這個小餐廳前停車。今天終於要上館子，不用再吃廚娘們的馬鈴薯、胡蘿蔔大餐了。

 

 

哇！有蛋吔！真好！在戈壁裡沒看到過一隻家禽，也沒看過一顆蛋，居然她手上有一大盤蛋，好開心唷！

 

在等餐點的同時，我們的二位司機老大一刻不得閒，又再維修保養車子。

 

 

還不時要在大太陽下躺在地上，鑽到車下去修理，敬業的精神令人佩服！

 

 

我也不得閒，在附近隨便逛。名為小鎮，其實也是光秃秃的地方，多了幾戶人家罷了。

這間是比較典型的蒙古小鎮裡的大戶人家，四周有木籬圍起來，裡頭有二到三個蒙古包，或者還有一間小木屋，有個可以遮掩的廁所，有個大大的空地，有電力可用。別小看，這是蒙古人的大別墅哩！

 

 

哇！這個蒙古帥哥酷哩！一身標準傳統的蒙古裝扮，我的視線捨不得離開他。

 

 

逮到機會了，找他合影，好興奮哦！

 

 

語言不通沒關係，用微笑和友善的肢體跟他互動！

 

最令我喜愛的，是他這條超級酷、超級好看的腰帶，好喜歡唷！可是一路就沒看到有人在賣。

 

 

蒙古帥哥被我逗得靦腆不已！

 

 

原來他是載著妻兒來鎮上採購，很可惜他騎機車，若是騎馬，那就酷斃了！

餐廳門口的洗手枱，有水籠頭唷！不過，裡頭的水是自己添加的，要省著用，所有的資源在此都是寶貴的。

 

 

洗手枱旁的水桶，已經凹陷得不成圓桶狀了，依然繼續使用，這裡沒有資格不惜福，擁有的太少了。

 

 

感動吔！這一餐終於不用吃馬鈴薯了。主菜是羊肉、青椒、洋葱、胡蘿蔔和蛋。簡單的套餐加一碗鹹奶茶，這就是沙漠裡很棒的一餐了！
